As the community of the Greatest Name enters the days of the Most Great Festival %% Nga entababuvo y’ow’Erinnya Erisingira ddala Obukulu eyingira ennaku ez’Ekijaguzo ekisinga obukulu 
amidst these troubling times, %% wakati mu biseera eby’okutegana, 
the National Assembly has turned to Bahá'u'lláh %% Olukiiko olw’Eggwanga lukyukidde eri Bahá'u'lláh  
in a posture of humble appreciation, %% mu ngeri y’okusiima n’obwetoowaze, 
as it wishes to express its deep gratitude %% nga bwe lwagala okutuusa okwebaza ennyo nnyini 
for the wonderful achievements %% olw’ebirungi eby’ekitalo ebitukiriziddwa.
the Uganda Bahá’í community was able win over this past year, %% Entababuvo y’ababahá’í ba Uganda yasobola okuyimirizaawo omwaka guno oguyise, 
achievements that have dwarfed accomplishments of any past year in its history. %% ebitukiriziddwa ebimenyeewo ebyali bitukiddwako mu mwaka gwonna ogwayita mu byafaayo byayo.
From the nearly 30,000 participants in the Bicentenary celebrations, %% Okuva ku kumpi 30,000 abenyigira mu bijaguzo eby’emyaka ebikumi ebibiri, 
the lofty heights of thousands of core activities that are spread out in the country %% okukula okw’omuwendo okw’enkumi z’emirimu gy’omulamwa egisasaanidde eggwanga 
and to the House of Worship with its grounds at a level of beauty not seen before, %% ne ku Nnyumba y’Okusinza n’ebigyetoolodde ku ddaala ly’obulungi obutalabwangako,
these are signs that the community has reached a maturity %% buno bubonero obulaga nti entababuvo etuuse ku bukulu 
and a disposition to touch ever more intensely with warm hearts %% n’engeri y’okukwatira ddala 
the wider community %% n’omukwano 
as it has never done before. %% lubeerera ku ntababuvo engazi nga bwetakikolangako.
While Bahá’í friends are not immune to the suffering that the prevailing conditions impose, %% Nnewakubadde ababahá’í ab’emikwano tebatalizibwa kubonabona embeera eriwo kwessaawo, 
it has been so re-assuring to hear of the initiatives taken by many to alleviate the gloom %% kibadde kiwa nnyo obuvumu okuwulira ebitandikidwawo ebikoleddwa abangi okukkakkanya enaku 
and cheer the hearts of their respective neighbours. %% era basanyuse emitima gya baliranwa babwe. 
At the end of it all life will not return to the usual ways expected, %% Ku nkomerero ya byonna obulamu tebujja kuddamu kubeera nga bwetubusuubira, 
the community is urged to be creative but wise, %% entababuvo ekubirizibwa okubeera engiiya naye n’amagezi,
thinking of the well-being of their fellow man, %% okulowooza ku bulungi bw’omuntu munnaabwe,
in the manner that Faith will continue to grow  %% mu ngeri Enzikiriza gy’eneyongera okukula 
and flourish in the year ahead. %% n’okubimbijjukana mu mwaka gwetwolekedde.

The Assembly beseeches the Blessed Beauty %% Olukiiko lwegayirira Ow’omukisa Omulungi ennyo 
to pour evermore abundantly His blessings %% okuyiwa mu bungi emikisa Gye 
and shower His constant protection on the friends everywhere. %% era awandagirizze obukuumi Bwe obutakyuka ku b’emikwano buli wonna.
