Lesson 27 – Present indicative negative


Q: Oyambala? A: Nedda, sambala. Njiga Luganda.
(Q: Are you dressing? A: No, I’m not dressing. I’m studying Luganda.)
Q: Tugolokoka ku ssaawa musanvu? A: Nedda, tetugolokoka ku ssaawa musanvu.
(Q: Do we wake up at 1 [pm]? A: No, we don’t wake up a one [pm].)

Note: the words from the acronym {pm} are translated as the time of the night or day in Luganda. E.g: ssaawa musanvu ezekiro (one hour past midnight) ssaawa musanvu ezemisana (one hour past midday)
