B: Ndi bulungi. (I’m ok.)
A: Siiba bulungi. (Have a nice day.)
B: Gyebaleko. (Thanks for the work.)
A: Nawe gyebaleko. ( You too, thanks for the work.)
A: Sula bulungi. (Sleep well.)
B: Kale, weeraba. (Ok, goodbye.)

Tukusanyukidde. (We are glad to see you, Welcome.), Tunaalabagana (See you later).

Tuning the Ear to Tonality
Omufumbi ali ludda wa? (Where is the cook?), Ali wano mu fumbiro. (She’s here in the kitchen.), Ali wali. (She’s over there.) , Agenze mu katale. (She’s gone to the market.)

Building Vocabulary [ka/bu - class]
Akasozi. (A hill.), Obusozi. (Hills.), Akaato (a small boat, a canoe), Obwato (Small boats, canoes), Akalabo (A small gift), Obulabo (Small gifts), Akakongovvule (an ankle), Obukongovvule (Ankles)
Note: the prefix “ka” often designates “smallness”.
