Watch Out for the Lion

[Materials - none.]

The children stand in a circle. One child is "it" and stands outside the circle. He taps one of the children on the shoulder and says, 'Watch out for the lion!' The child must respond: 'What does it look like?' "It" begins to describe one of the other children. As soon as the child being described realises that she's the lion, she jumps out of the circle and chases the child who is "it." "It" must run around the circle one complete, time before he can find safety in the spot left open by the lion. If the lion tags him before he can reach safety, then he remains "it." If the lion does not catch him, then the lion becomes "it."
