Crocodile Race

[Materials - None]

For this race game, the children divide into two or more teams. Two person teams work well, but it's even more fun when the teams have three or more children.

The children in each team line up behind their leader. Everyone squats on his or her heels, holding onto the waist of the child ahead. You have now formed a "crocodile." With the signal, the crocodiles- still squatting- make their way to the finish line. The children in each team must remain in contact. If a crocodile breaks apart, the back section must stay still until the front part re-attaches itself The first crocodile to reach the finish line is the winner.
