The Bird

[Materials - none]

The Children sit in a row. The child at one end begins by saying to her neighbour, "I see a bird." Each child in turn repeats the statement to his neighbour. When they have reached the far end of the line, the child at that end responds by asking a question such as, "Does she have feathers?" The Children repeat this question in turn until it reaches the first child, who responds to the question. The Children should send questions and answers up and down the line as quickly as possible. To make the game more interesting, add hand motions and sound effects: The object of the game is to keep from laughing. Anyone who laughs or makes a mistake repeating the questions and answers is out of the game.
